How to Ask for a Raise and Make a Counter Offer

👏🏻💎You are worthy of 💰 proper compensation.

➡️➡️➡️It is always worth asking for more when you get a job offer. And it is always acceptable to ask for more when you feel like your compensation no longer reflects the level of service or value you’re offering.

🎧In today’s episode of the @glowgetterspodcast ➡️ 97. How to ask for a RAISE and Make a COUNTER OFFER…

🙋🏼‍♀️I share my personal experiences with asking for a raise and making counter offers when HR calls saying “you’ve got the job!”

🚶‍♀️It‘s been a journey walking through finding my value, identifying my knowledge gaps, and asking for more!

💰I don’t think we talk enough, as women, about what it means to ask for more when we are offered an exciting opportunity, and I want to NORMALIZE always making the ask.

💸Pay equity is so important to me, and this is one way to close the wage gap—taking things into our own hands and asking for more!

Thank you so everyone who commented on my post from Monday sharing about it you’ve countered or asked for a raise.

➡️Many of you had not asked for a raise or countered.

➡️Some of you had countered.

Let’s change that narrative and recognize that hiring managers are expecting a counter. {Trust me because I’m one of them!}
